New England Folk Art Wood Carved Relief Portrait - Antique Handicraft Wall-Hanging

Wood carved portrait of a bearded man in hat. Four large button-top industrial staples fasten the portrait to a hand carved backing frame. There is an eye-screw on back with wire meant for wall-hanging. Artist signed "Ree" on back. Late 19th century New England Americana folk art.
